Hickory Hills Kennel is a family-owned and operated business that has been providing top-notch dog boarding and doggy daycare services for years. With on-site ownership, we ensure that your furry friends receive the best care and attention while they stay with us. As Madison's first doggy daycare, we take pride in offering a safe, clean, and fun environment for all our canine guests. Our team, including Margaret Suter, Jazmin Herman, Rich Suter, and Dana Suter, are dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring that your dogs have a happy and enjoyable stay.

Hours of Operation

We are open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, for dog boarding and doggy daycare services. Our regular hours for boarding are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, and Sunday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. For doggy daycare, we are open Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that there is an after-hours fee for scheduling a drop-off or pick-up beyond our normal hours, which needs to be scheduled in advance with a staff member.

Holiday Hours

We understand the importance of spending time with family during the holidays, and that's why we have adjusted our office hours for select holidays. During these times, our staff will still be checking voicemails, Facebook messages, texts, and emails frequently, and your dogs will still receive the best care and attention. Boarding Services

At Hickory Hills Kennel, we offer spacious kennels that can accommodate dogs of all sizes. Each individual kennel has an attached private outdoor run, food and water dishes, and fresh bedding. Our buildings are climate-controlled and kept clean throughout the day. Along with overnight boarding, our playful guests receive complimentary playtime in a small, supervised group. To receive group playtime, all dogs must be social, up-to-date on all required vaccines, and on a flea and tick preventative.

What to Bring

We encourage you to bring your dog's favorite toys, blankets, or any other belongings that will make their stay more comfortable. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for the damage or loss of any bedding and/or belongings during your dog's stay. We provide clean bedding and blankets and highly encourage using ours as there is no chance of getting lost or damaged. We also recommend bringing your dog's food to avoid any dietary issues or discomfort. If you choose to use our food, we have a flat rate food charge of $2/day per dog.

Medication Administration

If your dog is taking any medication, please bring it with them during their stay. Our staff is trained to administer medication and will follow your instructions carefully. We ensure that all medication is stored safely and administered on time.

Daycare Services

At Hickory Hills Kennel, we offer doggy daycare services that provide a fun and safe environment for your dog to socialize and play. Our daycare program includes supervised playtime, structured activities, and plenty of rest and relaxation. To participate in daycare, all dogs must be social, up-to-date on all required vaccines, and on a flea and tick preventative.
