The Rostron Piano Studio, located in Phoenix, Arizona, is a premier music education center that offers a wide range of services to students of all ages and skill levels. Our studio is led by Dr. Peggy Rostron, a highly acclaimed pianist and educator with over 50 years of experience in teaching and performing.

Private Piano Lessons

Our private piano lessons are designed to help students develop their technical skills, musicality, and creativity. Our lessons are tailored to the needs of each student, and we offer a range of styles and genres to choose from, including classical, jazz, and popular music. Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and instruments, and we offer a comfortable and relaxed learning environment.

Group Workshops

In addition to private lessons, we also offer group workshops twice a semester. These workshops provide students with the opportunity to learn in a collaborative setting, focusing on performance, listening, theory, and other areas of musicianship. Our group workshops are a great way to meet other students who share your passion for music, and to learn from each other's experiences.

Solo Performance

The Rostron Piano Studio also offers solo performance services for special events and occasions. Our elegant piano music is perfect for weddings, birthday parties, holiday parties, and corporate functions. We specialize in classical music, but can also provide music in other genres to suit your needs.

Collaborative Performance

As a collaborative pianist, Dr. Rostron has worked with numerous vocal and instrumental soloists, chamber groups, and orchestras. We offer accompaniment services for auditions, recitals, rehearsals, and private functions, and can also provide custom accompaniment CDs/MP3s for singers and instrumentalists.

About Dr. Peggy Rostron

Dr. Peggy Rostron, DMA, is the director of the Rostron Piano Studio. She has been active as a piano teacher and soloist/collaborative pianist for over 50 years. Dr. Rostron holds degrees in piano performance from Winthrop University, Ohio University, and the University of Iowa. She is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association, the Arizona State Music Teachers Association, the Phoenix Music Teachers Association, and the National Federation of Music Clubs.
