Hammer & Strings Conservatrory

Hammer & Strings Conservatory (H&S) is the East Valley's premier location for private and group lessons in Voice, Piano, Violin, Viola, and Cello. Our program is designed to provide the highest level of music education available, immersing students in all aspects of musical art, including performance, collaboration, technique, history, theory, and pedagogy. We are committed to mentoring young students and teaching the next generation of musicians, with our elite music teachers having extensive real-life performing experience at the collegiate and professional levels.

Our Philosophy

At H&S, we believe in providing "Intentional Excellence" in Music Education. We are dedicated to giving students access to multiple classes and events through our network of amazing teachers and mentors. Our resources include theory classes, collaborative piano, chamber groups, on-site accompanists for instrumentalists and vocalists, music history, and masterclasses. We are proud to offer our world-class piano, the Bosendorfer 9' Concert Grand, which is rarely available outside universities and city art centers. With multiple performances each year, students have the opportunity to perform for various crowds and in various settings.

Services Offered

We offer private lessons, group classes, and on-site accompanists for instrumentalists and vocalists. Our private lessons are the backbone of any serious music education. Teachers meet one-on-one with each student for 45-minute or 1-hour lessons, providing incredible, personalized instruction. Group classes include theory classes, collaborative piano, chamber groups, and music history, allowing students to collaborate and learn from each other. Our on-site accompanists are available for students to work with during their lessons, rehearsals, and performances.

Tuition and Registration

Our private lessons tuition is paid monthly with an automatic withdrawal system. Weekly 30-minute lessons are $175/month, weekly 45-minute lessons are $252/month, and weekly 1-hour lessons are $335/month. For group classes, students can register online by visiting our Group Classes tab.
