Whitley Ballet School

Whitley Ballet School, based in Pasadena, California, is a haven for dancers of all ages and skill levels. Our dedicated team, led by the experienced and caring Miss Natalie, is passionate about instilling a lifelong love of dance and movement in our students. We take pride in our nurturing environment, where students feel comfortable taking risks and challenging themselves.

Our Services

We offer a variety of classes, including ballet, jazz, and tap dance, with a focus on classical ballet technique following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. Our ballet classes cater to children and adults, with options ranging from creative movement and pre-ballet for beginners to intermediate, advanced, and pre-pointe/pointe private lessons and coaching for more serious dancers. Additionally, we provide private lessons and coaching, which include analysis and comprehension of various methods of training such as Cecchetti, Vaganova, RAD, French/POB, and Bournonville.

We are also privileged to offer Royal Academy of Dance examinations as part of our class program. This structured goal-setting process greatly aids students in developing both their technical and artistic skills, laying a well-paced and detail-oriented foundation for dancers to carry in all areas of life. Our students' hard work and dedication have led to a 100% pass rate, a testament to our commitment to excellence.

In addition to our in-person classes, we offer online lessons via Zoom for dancers who prefer this format. Please contact us by email to schedule these sessions.

Rates

Our rates are designed to be affordable and flexible, with options to suit different needs and budgets. For in-person small group classes, the cost is $20-30 per session. There is a one-time registration fee of $40 per family, which helps us keep our classes small and personal. Private lessons, whether delivered online via Zoom or in-person, are also available at a rate that reflects the personalized attention and coaching provided.

Whitley Ballet School classes are currently held in-person in Pasadena, and online via Zoom if requested. All classes require registration prior to joining. Please contact us to arrange a visit or drop in to a class.
