At Hands On Therapy, we are a team of dedicated occupational therapy practitioners and Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) specializing in the rehabilitation of the upper extremity. Our Founder: Candy Diamond-Krupitsky

Candy Diamond-Krupitsky, MS, OTR/L, CHT, is the founder of Hands On Therapy. With extensive training and experience in hand therapy, Candy completed her Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy at Shenandoah University and pursued specialized training in the rehabilitation of traumatic hand injuries at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Candy's commitment to excellence led her to earn the prestigious credentials of Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), signifying her advanced knowledge and expertise in hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation.

In 2001, Candy founded Hands On Therapy, LLC in Pikesville to address the occupational therapy and hand therapy needs in her community, and several years later, locations in Catonsville and Whitemarsh were established. Candy's personal journey with lateral epicondylitis, or tennis elbow, led her to explore alternative therapies and integrate these innovative techniques into her practice. Her dedication to providing the highest quality care to her patients is reflected in her commitment to exploring alternative therapies and her emphasis on effective, non-painful therapy.

Our Staff: Tara Carloni and Beyond

Tara Carloni, MOT, OTR/L, CHT, has been a valued therapist at Hands On Therapy since 2002. She holds a Masters in Occupational Therapy and has specialized training in hand therapy. Our team also includes occupational therapy practitioners and Certified Hand Therapists who share Candy and Tara's dedication to providing the highest quality care to our patients. We believe that therapy should not be painful to be effective and value collaboration, taking a multidisciplinary approach to pain resolution.
