Sanmann Kennels, a family-owned and operated business, was founded in 1979 by Sue and Eric Petermann. Our primary goal is to provide trustworthy care for your dog, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being. We are dedicated to breeding and exhibiting the highest quality Golden Retrievers, with bloodlines going back to the 1960s. Our dogs have excelled in the show ring and obedience trials, earning many American Kennel Club (AKC) titles. However, our primary focus is on providing true companionship for the families who welcome our puppies into their homes.

Our Facilities and Services

Our fully heated and air-conditioned facilities include indoor and outdoor runs, a spacious indoor play/training room, and large fenced outdoor exercise areas. We offer boarding services, with kennel tours available for those interested in learning more about our accommodations. Bathing is available for boarding dogs prior to departure for an additional fee, which includes a bath, nail trim, and brushing.

Sanmann Kennels is proud to offer training services, with Susan Petermann, an AKC Judge and professional owner/breeder/handler, teaching show handling classes. Sue has been successfully breeding and showing Golden Retrievers since 1969, and her expertise is evident in the success of the dogs she has trained.
