Tier 1 Baseball

We Are Prime USA Prime Baseball was established in 2017 out of the DFW area. USA Prime Austin, formally known as Tier 1 Baseball, joined the Prime baseball family in 2022. Since our inception, players have found immediate success with teams ranked in the nation by Perfect Game from 12u- 18u, 800+ college commits, and 37 players drafted. Our teams will play in top local tournaments, as well as have the opportunity to compete at the State and National level.

Development First

We are a development first organization. Development happens through extensive focused training, learning how to play the game the correct way, and a competitive atmosphere. Each player is held to a standard that they must meet day in and day out, giving them the confidence to succeed in all aspects of life.

What Makes Us Different

Not only do we want to emphasize making each player the best they can possibly be, we also want to teach how to play the game the correct way. We feel that teaching the fundamentals of baseball is a key component of player development, but there is a vast set of unseen aspects that accompany each repetition of a swing or pitch. It's the minute details that can alter the outcome of a game entirely.

Meet the Coaches

Mamon Tucker, Owner, grew up in Austin, Texas, and graduated from Austin High School in 1998. While at Austin High, he was a 3-year starter on the varsity baseball team, achieving many honors including two-time District MVP, two-time All CenTex, two-time All State, and Rawlings All American. Coach Tucker was a top 50 college recruit and signed a letter of intent to attend Oklahoma State University. He was selected with the 39th overall pick of the MLB Amateur Draft by the Baltimore Orioles in 1998 and went on to play 8 seasons of professional baseball.
