Our Story

Ashlee Horton, the owner of Ashlee's Ark, is a lifelong animal lover and caregiver. With over 30 years of experience with dogs, cats, horses, livestock, fish, birds, and reptiles, Ashlee has a deep understanding of the needs and requirements of different pets. Her husband, Robert, shares her passion for animals and together they have created a safe and welcoming environment for all pets.

Ashlee and Robert have lived and worked in Denton County and have a deep understanding of the local community. In early 2014, they built their current home in Argyle, where they provide pet sitting services to the local community.

Our Services

At Ashlee's Ark, we offer a variety of pet sitting services to cater to the needs of different pets and their owners. Our services include:

• Doggie Daycare: We provide a fun and stimulating environment for your dogs while you're at work or away. Our doggie daycare service includes constant observation, tons of attention, excellent socialization, and exercise galore. We tailor the day to suit your pet's age, breed, and physical needs.

• In-Home Boarding: We welcome the opportunity to care for your dogs in our home. Your pets will have access to our entire home and property, receiving 24-hour care and attention from our family. We work tirelessly to provide a fun, safe, stimulating, and clean environment for your pets.

• Farm/Livestock Care Visits: If you have large animals or a menagerie of pets, we've got you covered. Each visit is approximately 40 minutes and includes feeding all the animals, checking and filling all water, observing for injury, giving medications, turn out or put up, blanketing, and more.

• Pet Taxi Services: We offer pet taxi services for drop-off and pick-up, as well as home care checks such as mail pickup, grounds checks, watering plants, and changing lights/blinds.
