Our Mission

McLean Youth Soccer (MYS) is dedicated to fostering the physical, technical, and personal development of young soccer players through competitive and inclusive programming. We believe in creating a positive and supportive environment where players can learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.

1. Competitive Programs

• ECNL: Offering a competitive environment for elite players, with professional coaching and intense competition.
• Travel Teams: Developing young players for future success through rigorous training and out-of-region competition.
• Training & Camps: Providing camps and clinics for players of all ages and skill levels to enhance their technical abilities.

2. Recreational Programs

• Rec Soccer: Offering co-ed recreational league for players of all ages and abilities.
• Mini-Soccer: Introducing younger children to the game of soccer in a fun and engaging way.

3. Development & Education

• Player Development Philosophy: Sharing our comprehensive approach to player development with the community.
• Workshops & Seminars: Hosting workshops on various aspects of the game, such as player safety, nutrition, and mental development.

4. Community Involvement

• Financial Aid: Providing assistance to families facing financial barriers through programs like "Get on the Bus."
• Community Outreach: Partnering with local organizations to offer outreach programs and support community initiatives.

5. Leadership & Governance

• Experienced Board of Directors: Led by passionate volunteers who are dedicated to the growth and sustainability of MYS.
