Our company was founded in 2016 by Tyler Peters and George Despotopoulos, who combined their expertise in the mortgage industry to create a lender that prioritizes simplicity, transparency, and a hassle-free process.

Our Team
MoFin's leadership team is comprised of experienced professionals with a deep understanding of the mortgage industry. Tyler Peters, co-founder and CEO, has over 15 years of experience in the non-agency mortgage industry and is responsible for our lending programs and guidelines. George Despotopoulos, co-founder and Chief Business Development Officer, serves as in-house counsel and leads our business development and marketing efforts. Our team also includes James Im, Head of Underwriting, who comes from a 19-year career on Wall Street and brings his expertise in Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities to our underwriting process. Julianne Annunziata, Head of Operations, focuses on loan closing and servicing processes. Our team's combined expertise allows us to provide flexible solutions for real estate investors.
