Our owner, Jennifer Mapalad, personally oversees every client's protocol, ensuring that we address the unique needs of each client and help manage or eliminate pain, rehabilitate injuries, and often avoid surgery. Our Studio specializes in Pilates for Pain Management, and our team of teachers has the expertise to help you on your journey to better health.

Our Teachers

At Body Temple Pilates, every teacher is extensively trained in the Pilates method and required to hold PMA recognized certifications. They continue their studies with rigorous and accredited continuing education programs, ensuring that they have the most up-to-date knowledge and skills to help you achieve your goals.

Jennifer Mapalad, owner of Body Temple Pilates, is a Registered Nurse and teacher trainer with expertise in critical care, Level 1 trauma, recovery, pain management, and rehabilitation. Her own experience taught her the power of Pilates for finding better health and wellness, and she has devoted her time, compassion, and expertise to making the studio a place for clients to experience personal and physical growth.

Cindy Marshall, a native of Rockford, IL, is passionate about health and fitness and continues to expand her knowledge to better serve her clients. She is a certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Health Coach, with a specialization in exercise nutrition. Cindy believes that Pilates is for everyone, whether you are just getting started, a professional athlete, or recovering from an injury or surgery.
