At Lady Bits Physical Therapy, we're dedicated to providing a unique and compassionate experience for women dealing with pelvic floor and related issues. Our mission is to help women regain control over their bodies and live life without shame or embarrassment. We understand that discussing intimate health can be daunting, which is why we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for our patients.
Our story began when our founder, Julie Kwong, MPT, was faced with unexplained infertility and embarked on a journey to find answers. Through her experiences and extensive training, Julie discovered the importance of specialized physical therapy for pelvic floor dysfunction, including pelvic organ prolapse, painful sex, and pelvic pain. This knowledge has been instrumental in shaping our approach and services.
Services
We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to address various pelvic floor and related issues. These include physical therapy for pelvic organ prolapse, painful sex, and pelvic pain, as well as specialized care for women during pregnancy and postpartum. Our team is committed to providing education, support, and skilled therapy to help women regain their health and confidence.
Our office is designed to feel less clinical, offering a cozy healing space where women can feel comfortable discussing their concerns and receiving the care they need. We believe that every woman deserves specialized bodywork and rehabilitation, especially after childbirth, to prevent and treat issues like leaking, prolapse, and DRA.
The Team
Julie Kwong, MPT, is the owner and primary therapist at Lady Bits Physical Therapy. With a background in music and biology, Julie's journey into physical therapy was inspired by her own experiences with chronic pain and her brother's expertise as a physical therapist. She has since undergone extensive training in pelvic floor rehabilitation and continues to update her skills to ensure the best possible care for her patients.
Tybel Dombrowski, OT, is a valued member of our team, bringing her expertise in occupational therapy to support our holistic approach. Her background in helping individuals with Alzheimer's care has further deepened our understanding of the importance of patient-centered care.
