Located within the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS), our restaurant and bar, known as The Wetlab, prides itself on its unique waterfront setting, stunning views of Biscayne Bay, and exceptional service. Our story began in 1996 as a food cart on one of downtown Miami's sidewalks, followed by the founding of Sidewalk Salads, a thriving catering business. In 2014, our owner, Aaron Freedman, took the next step and opened SALT Waterfront Restaurant and The Wetlab.
