At Maple Valley Christian Preschool, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment that fosters a love of learning, a sense of belonging, and a discovery of God's love for each student. Our experienced and dedicated staff work together to create a well-rounded program that focuses on the whole child - socially, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide an exceptional educational experience that prepares children for future success, while instilling a strong foundation in their spiritual and moral values. We believe that every child is a unique creation of God, and it is our privilege to help them grow and develop into the people God designed them to be.

Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs for children aged 2 to 5 years old. Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each child, from introducing them to colors, shapes, and music, to preparing them for kindergarten. Our 2-year-old program focuses on socialization and exploration, while our 3-year-old program introduces them to the alphabet and numbers. Our 4-year-old program builds on these skills and prepares them for kindergarten, and our 5-year-old program provides additional support and preparation for kindergarten.

Our Staff

Our staff consists of a dedicated team of teachers and administrators who are passionate about providing a high-quality educational experience for our students. Our staff has over 90 years of combined experience in early childhood education, and they are committed to creating a nurturing and engaging environment that meets the unique needs of each child.

Director's Bio

Our Director, Mrs. Amber, has been with Maple Valley Christian Preschool for over 10 years. Prior to starting a family, she worked for Renton School District in a variety of positions, including reading specialist. Mrs. Amber has taught at the preschool for 5 years and is passionate about teaching and helping to form young minds around Jesus.

Assitant Director's Bio

Our Assistant Director, Mrs. Stephanie, discovered her passion for teaching early in life. She graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education and spent 9 years teaching special education before staying home with her young family. Mrs. Stephanie is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus, shaping young minds, and encouraging children to be the best they can be.

Our History

New Life Christian Preschool began in the late 1980s when two dedicated mothers saw the need for a Christian preschool in Maple Valley. Over the years, our school has grown to offer programs for 2-year-olds through 5-year-olds and a Junior Kindergarten program specifically for 5-year-olds. In 2019, we changed our name to Maple Valley Christian Preschool to better align with Maple Valley Church, but our commitment to providing a high-quality preschool experience has remained the same.
