Our Philosophy
At Village Learning, we believe that children learn best from desire. Our curriculum is both child-led and teacher-led, while continually being prepared to captivate each child's attention. We offer an emerging curriculum both indoors and outdoors, and our environment is both play and nature-based, offering opportunities in abundance! Each child is met where they are at and assisted in ways that inspire and enhance their life skills, knowledge, interests, talents, and gifts. Our approach is based on the understanding that children learn from nature and that it is essential for children to develop a relationship with the world around them while growing intellectually as well as spiritually.
Our Programs
At Village Learning, we offer a range of programs to meet the needs of each child and their family. Our full-time program includes Garden Gate Preschool and is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We accept children 3 years of age and older, and tuition for full-time child care is $1,780 per month. Our programs are licensed by the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) in the state of Washington.
