Our Story
Our journey began in 1999 when I, Sandy, made a deliberate transition from an accounting office to pursue my passion for animals. With extensive experience in pet care, I volunteered at the San Diego Humane Society, gaining invaluable knowledge and a deeper understanding of animal behavior and needs. I've had the pleasure of caring for a wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits, hamsters, and even barnyard animals like tortoises, chickens, and goats. Our family has also provided a safe haven for foster animals, from mother cats with kittens to puppies with broken legs. My own lovable pets, Doc the chihuahua, Toby the chihuahua, and Ladybug the retriever mix, have become an integral part of our lives.

At Sandy's Pet Care, we offer a comprehensive range of pet care services to cater to your pet's unique needs. Our services include:
- Animal Care: Providing daily fresh food and water, playing and chatting with your pet, and administering medication if needed.
- Home Care: Bringing in mail and newspapers, watering plants, taking out the trash, and performing other small tasks to maintain your home.
- Daily Walks: Taking your dog on exciting outings to Fiesta Island, fenced dog parks, and even beach trips (weather permitting).
- Boarding: Providing a comfortable, home-like environment with daily walks, playtime, and plenty of love and attention.
- Special Needs: Offering medication administration, insulin injections, and other special needs care for pets with specific requirements.
- Extra Services: Rinsing after beach trips, shampoo washing, nail trimming, anal gland expression, and haircuts (prices vary based on dog size).
