Nikkei Credit Union, founded in 1951, is a progressive, full-service financial institution serving the Japanese American community in Southern California. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we are owned and democratically controlled by our members. From our humble beginnings with twelve founding members in 1951, Nikkei Credit Union has evolved into a thriving financial institution with over 4,700 members and $86 million in assets. We embrace change and are driven by a vision to be the financial service choice for the Nikkei community.
