Navigating Complexity, Building Resilience
At Middleton Psychology Services (MPS), we understand the complexities and nuances that make each individual unique. Our approach, "navigating complexity, building resilience, " reflects our appreciation for the multifaceted, ever-changing nature of each person and their potential to overcome adversity. We believe that people are more than just labels or categories, and we work closely with our clients to tailor an approach that addresses their specific concerns.
Our founders, Drs. Roseanne and Carl Middleton, brought their combined 30+ years of experience and expertise to the Frederick area when they started MPS in 2016. We are dedicated to providing a supportive environment where individuals can explore their concerns and work towards building resilience.
Our Treatment Approach
The psychologists at MPS are committed to helping you navigate your concerns and achieve your goals. We embrace the Recovery Model outlined by SAMHSA, which emphasizes managing concerns while continuing to live fully immersed in life. This approach allows individuals to maintain greater engagement and self-direction in their lives as they enhance their understanding and skill in setting and achieving various goals. Our treatment approach includes interventions designed to build and sustain resilience, helping individuals find an active role in their treatment that is both affirming and fulfilling.
