Ark-La-Tex Window & Door is a family owned and operated retail business founded in 1984 by Danny Compton. He remained at home in West Monroe to call on lumber yards in north Louisiana, north Mississippi, and south Arkansas. This was his first job after graduation from then Northeast Louisiana University with a double major in Business Management and business marketing. Both of his sons, Robby and Brent, worked with him during their high school and college years.
