Paula Brown Performing Arts Center (PBPAC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2014 to provide exceptional classical ballet training to the African American communities in Prince George's County, Maryland, and abroad. With a variety of classes for every skill level, from beginner to professional, PBPAC aims to stimulate the African American culture in classical ballet, promote healthy lifestyles, and instill core principles such as self-esteem, self-confidence, and cultural awareness. Through touring, educational programs, outreach, and media, PBPAC seeks to bring classical ballet to underserved communities and provide opportunities for young dancers to perform and tour as a ballet company.
