Community Legal Services (CLS) is a non-profit organization that provides free civil legal assistance to low-income Philadelphians. We also advocate for critical policy changes that our community urgently needs. With a team of staff attorneys, paralegals, social workers, and other advocates, we work to ensure that people and their families in Philadelphia can access fundamental needs like housing, food, and employment. Our services include assistance with public benefits, employment, housing, debt and consumer rights, utilities, family, and criminal records. We also provide seniors with specialized services. CLS provides a vital safety net for those in need.
Clients have praised the professionalism, compassion, and helpfulness of some attorneys, resulting in positive outcomes.
