Camp Sequoia is a supportive overnight camp for exceptional young men ages 7-18 and exceptional young women ages 9-17, focusing on the unique needs of kids with ADHD and those working on social or life development skills. Our mission is to provide a fun, active social learning adventure that integrates social cognitive and frustration tolerance concepts into all aspects of camp life. We offer a range of activities, a low camper-to-staff ratio, and a supportive community that allows campers to build confidence, make friends, and develop character. With 75+ activities to choose from, our camp provides a unique opportunity for campers to try new things and discover their passions. Our experienced staff and 2:5 staff-to-camper ratio ensure that each camper receives personalized attention and support.
Campers and staff alike praised the camp for being a fun and transformative experience, with empathetic and caring staff.
The camp was criticized for being unprofessional, disorganized, and lacking in communication, which led to traumatic experiences for some campers and disappointing outcomes for parents.
