Jacobs' Ladder Therapeutic Riding Center is a non-profit organization that provides equine related activities to individuals with special needs. Our goals include reaching members of the community who were previously unable to consider riding due to physical or mental disabilities, providing an outlet for recreational and developmental needs, promoting an "I can do it!" attitude, and offering opportunities to compete in Special Olympics Horse Shows. We offer 30-minute riding lessons at $30.00, and some special needs students may qualify for assistance through scholarship money. We have a covered arena and provide lessons in a safe and non-stressful environment, suitable for individuals with special needs, including those with physical or mental disabilities, and those who are just interested in learning to ride horses. Our expert instructors provide one-on-one attention and guidance, and we also offer online shopping through iGive.com to support our cause.
