Englewood Schools Nutrition Services provides healthy school meals for all students, offering free breakfast and lunch starting from the 23/24 school year. As part of the Healthy Meals Incentives Initiative, the school district was awarded $139,000 to improve the nutritional quality of school meals, purchase new kitchen equipment, develop scratch recipes, and provide farm-to-school experiences. The district is dedicated to strengthening school meals to improve children's health, working in collaboration with Action for Healthy Kids and USDA Food and Nutrition Service.
