Legal Services for Prisoners with Children is a non-profit organization that organizes communities impacted by the criminal justice system and advocates to release incarcerated people, restore human and civil rights, and reunify families and communities. We provide informational manuals and referrals to other legal services, and build public awareness of structural racism in policing, courts, and prison systems. Our work advances racial and gender justice, and includes legal support, trainings, advocacy, public education, grassroots mobilization, and community partnerships. We believe in fighting racism and economic injustice to end mass incarceration, and advocate for the human dignity and rights of people in prison and their communities.
