YUNOMI Pottery Studio is a small clay community where you can meet and develop friendships with like-minded people while finding and nurturing your artist within. The studio offers wheel-throwing classes and monthly memberships, with a maximum of six students at a time. Our studio is located in the art hub of Durango, CO, and offers over twenty beautiful house-made glazes. Our experienced teacher, Chyako Hashimoto, is patient and encouraging, making pottery accessible and fun for beginners and advanced students alike. With a focus on mindfulness meditation, we believe that the process of making pottery is a form of therapy, meditative, creative, and sometimes frustrating, but ultimately rewarding. Our studio is proud to be a part of the community in Durango and welcomes students of all levels to come and explore their creativity.
