The Rural Renewable Energy Alliance (RREAL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to making solar energy accessible to all households and communities in Central and Northern Minnesota. We work to expand solar capacity, education, and workforce development to strategically reduce poverty in our region. Our programs include K-8 solar curriculum, solar education and workforce development, solar for humanity, and more. Our mission is to empower rural communities to transition to clean energy while promoting economic development and social justice. We collaborate with local tribes, schools, and businesses to achieve our goals.
