Zender Environmental Health & Research Group is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that serves remote small communities to address an array of unique waste and water quality challenges. Our staff works directly with communities throughout Alaska on projects such as developing Basic Reporting & Budgeting Skills, building Water Quality Programs, and providing training on Backhaul, RACEJT, Job Training, Refrigerant Recovery (Freon), Arctic and Remote Community Research, and Tribal Exposure to Toxics. We believe in environmental health and safety for all peoples and provide technical expertise, coordinate efforts, and conduct research that advances that objective. We partner with multiple tribal consortia, organizations, agencies, and companies to work on problems that are larger than just one community or one tribe.
