At Muncie Ballet Studio, we are dedicated to providing children of all economic backgrounds the opportunity to experience and appreciate classical dance and music through community performances, as a performer or audience member. As a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1991, our mission is to increase awareness and appreciation of classical dance and music to children through dance instruction and creating audiences for today and tomorrow.

Our Story

Our story began over 30 years ago with a vision to make classical dance and music accessible to children from all walks of life. Today, we are proud to say that we have reached over 18,000 Indiana school children through our matinee performances for schools. We believe that dance education should not be limited to those who can afford it, which is why we offer tuition assistance and promote classical music and dance to children through community performances and classes.

Our Services

At Muncie Ballet Studio, we offer a wide range of services designed to cater to the needs of our students and their families. Our services include:

• Dance Classes: We offer a varied class program with price options for all levels of interest, ability, and economic situation. From Pre-pointe and pointe classes to summer camps and trial classes, we have something for everyone.
• Performances: Our performances are designed to bring classical dance and music to life. From our annual productions to community performances, we strive to create audiences for today and tomorrow.
• Parties: We offer unique party packages for children, complete with activities tailored to your theme, setup and clean-up, tables, and chairs for seating up to 100. Our party packages start at just $100 an hour with a two-hour minimum.
• Tuition Assistance: We believe that dance education should be accessible to all, which is why we offer tuition assistance to those who need it.
