Our mission is to inspire, motivate, and enrich every student in the art of dance. Our goal is to produce great students who appreciate the arts and are prepared for the future.

A Brief History of Our Studio

Inspire @ Dixie's Dance Studio has a rich history that dates back to 1987 when it was first opened by Dixie Osting. With just 75 students, Dixie started by teaching tap, jazz, clogging, and square dancing. In 2006, her son Kyle Osting, who had a professional dancing career, took over the studio and expanded the range of classes to include lyrical, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater. In 2012, Kyle further extended the studio by adding a new 30'x40' dance room, a new front office, and two additional bathrooms. Today, our full facility includes three dance rooms, a shoe room, a front office, a spacious lobby, and three bathrooms.

Our classes include Tap/Clogging, Jazz/Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Ballet, and Technique/Ballet. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping each student grow and improve in their chosen style of dance. We also have a competitive team for those who want to take their dancing to the next level. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or just starting out, we have something for everyone.
