Our Story

Our journey began in 1988, when our first metal recycling facility opened in Illinois. Since then, we have expanded our operations to two locations in Indiana, Valparaiso and Indianapolis. In 1998, we ventured into the auto part recycling business, opening our first auto recycling facility in Valparaiso. Our commitment to quality and customer service has enabled us to establish strong relationships with our customers and earn the trust of the industry.

Our team consists of Art Espino, Keith Huffmaster, Michael Evenhouse, and Mike McIntyre, each with their unique strengths and experiences in the industry. Shipping and Delivery

At Metro Auto Recyclers, we understand the importance of timely delivery. We have a fleet of trucks and utilize courier services, such as FedEx, to deliver parts to our customers. We also offer FedEx Ground services for residential locations and customers outside our normal delivery area, for a nominal charge.

With a family background in auto recycling, Art has developed a comprehensive understanding of the industry and is committed to ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Keith Huffmaster: Keith is the Sales Manager at Metro Auto Recyclers, having joined the company in 1999. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Keith has developed a thorough understanding of the auto recycling business. He is always looking for new opportunities to grow and expand our offerings.

Michael Evenhouse: Michael is a sales representative at Metro Auto Recyclers, having joined the team in 2006. With a passion for providing quality used auto parts, Michael is dedicated to ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Mike McIntyre: Mike is a sales representative at Metro Auto Recyclers, having joined the team after working for national and international companies in the automotive industry. Mike's extensive knowledge of the industry enables him to provide exceptional service to our customers.
