Jungian Analysis: A Soulful Method of Working with Life Issues and Emotions
Jungian Analysis is a therapeutic approach based on the teachings of Carl Gustav Jung, MD. It is a soulful method of working with life issues and emotions that focuses on complexes, unconscious patterns, symptoms, relationships, and the development and maturation of the personality, called individuation. Martha provides a confidential, honoring environment for clients to explore their inner worlds, helping them to create a space for the symbolic to emerge from conversations, experiences, dreams, drawings, fairytales, myths, or sand trays. Through this process, many clients report feelings of self-acceptance, transformation, authenticity, and renewed energy for life.
Jungian Psychotherapy: Problems- and Solution-Focused Therapy
Jungian Psychotherapy is similar to Jungian Analysis but is more practical and problem-focused. Martha helps clients explore the ways they engage with others and practice tools that allow them to modify automatic inner and outer responses to the world. Compassionate communication, self-care, meditation, typology testing, or coaching are some of the practical tools used in Jungian Psychotherapy. Martha may also assign homework between sessions, such as watching movies or YouTube videos, journaling, reading, or joining groups. The goal of Jungian Psychotherapy is to help clients develop new skills to engage with the world, leading to a more fulfilling life.
Group Work: Dreams and Symbols
Martha leads groups on Dreams and Symbols, exploring the ways that the unconscious communicates through imagery and symbols. These groups provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to share their dreams, learn about Jungian theory, and gain insights into their inner worlds. Participants report a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships, as well as a sense of community and belonging.
