Our Story

Our journey began over 20 years ago, when our founder, Lynne Zavrski, moved to Hawaii and became one of the first female lifeguards on the beach of Waikiki. With her passion for swimming and her dedication to teaching, Lynne created the Keiki Kai program, which would later evolve into Children of the Sea. Today, we are proud to be one of the leading swim schools in the Portland area, with a team of experienced instructors and a state-of-the-art facility.

Our pool is heated to a comfortable 91 degrees, and our locker rooms and amenities are clean and well-maintained. We take pride in our facility and strive to continuously improve and make improvements to ensure that our students and families feel welcome and comfortable.
