Our Leadership

Our leadership team consists of passionate, skilled professionals who have dedicated their lives to the industry. They are driven by the same values that we hold dear: integrity, ingenuity, and compassion. They are the backbone of our company, and we are proud to have them leading the charge.

Terry Heath, our CEO, is a former Royal Navy Electrical Engineer who moved to the U.S. from London. He spent many years at Siemens USA in various key roles focused on logistics, mobility, building automation, fire, and security. He founded Sciens Building Solutions in 2016 and continues to lead the charge in creating the largest independent fire and life safety company in the U.S.

Michael Dawid, our CFO, is a German native with 20 years of financial management experience in highly competitive industries. He took on strategic financial positions at Alcoa/Arconic before joining Sciens in 2017. He plays a key role in integrating companies that have a similar vision and profile to become part of the future that is Sciens Building Solutions.

Kurt Schoonover, our COO, joined Sciens in January 2018 and took on the role of COO two years later. He is a lover of golfing, boating, and hunting, and he has a deep understanding of the industry and a commitment to excellence.
