Canopy & The Roots

Canopy + the Roots is a vibrant social house and yoga studio nestled in the heart of Dahlonega, Georgia. Our space is not just a place to unwind or enjoy a cup of Costa Rican coffee; it's a hub where community, creativity, and culture converge.

Our story began with a vision to create a space where relationships are nurtured and a healthy community is fostered. This vision was brought to life by our founder and CEO, Hollie Lytle, who has been instrumental in making Canopy + the Roots a thriving arts community.

The Social House

At Canopy + the Roots, we offer a unique space that serves as a lounge for livin' alive. Our social house is adorned with floor-to-ceiling plants, providing a serene and peaceful ambiance. The space is perfect for study groups, client meetings, or special events. Our coffee bar serves freshly ground Costa Rican coffee and pastries, ensuring you stay energized throughout your day.

Our glass yoga studio offers daily classes, series', and workshops/trainings. We cater to all levels of yoga practitioners, from beginners to advanced, and offer classes such as Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Power Flow, Meditation/Nidra, Yin, and Christ-Centered yoga. Our class sizes are limited to ensure personalized attention and a comfortable environment for all our guests.

To make your experience even more rewarding, we offer memberships that include benefits such as bottomless coffee, exclusive merchandise, ticket discounts, and more. Our aim is to provide a space where you can connect with like-minded individuals, unwind, and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit.

The Listening Room

Our underground listening room, aptly named the Roots, is an intimate space dedicated to live performances. From open-mic comedy to spoken word, Bluegrass to blues music, we showcase local, regional, and national talent. We believe in celebrating diversity and fostering a thriving arts community in the "Peach State."

The Roots is a speakeasy-style listening room where the hustle slows, and the rhythm is heard. We have carefully designed the space to be acoustically balanced, ensuring that every note and each word resonate clearly. Without the distraction of clinking bar glasses, chatter, or cell phones, our guests can fully immerse themselves in the performances.

We host a variety of events, including concerts, comedy shows, improv nights, art galleries, and film screenings. Our calendar is always filled with exciting events, so be sure to check it out and join us for an unforgettable experience.
