Who We Are: Expertise and Experience

ALW EAP PLLC is led by CEO and Clinical Director, Dr. Gary B. Bailey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Certifications in Emotional Intelligence (EQi 2.0) and Employee Assistance. With a Ph. D. in Leadership Studies from North Carolina A & T University and extensive research on Emotional Intelligence and Transformational Leadership to Job Satisfaction, Dr. Bailey brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the organization.

For over 30 years, Dr. Bailey has treated individuals with complex trauma utilizing eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), as well as couples and families. He has also participated in national training of other healthcare professionals in health-service program planning, design, and leadership. ALW EAP PLLC is a certified EAP vendor through the State of North Carolina as a certified North Carolina Historically Underutilized Business (HUB), providing a diverse perspective to solve the challenges of today's complex diversity, equity, and inclusion issues in the workplace.

Garry Wiley, for example, is an LCSW with over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. Garry has worked with youth, adults, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and Substance Abuse populations. His approach utilizes a person-centered style, which encourages each individual to be the author of their own story. Commonly utilized approaches include but are not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and narrative therapy.
