Our Story

Mary Spoto, our co-owner, grew up on Long Island and began her journey in the food industry at a young age. She worked in local delis and eventually enrolled in Johnson & Wales Culinary School, where she honed her culinary skills. After working alongside our previous owner, Mike Minell, Mary eventually took the reins of the business and partnered with her husband, Justin, to purchase The Culinary Studio. Justin's own journey in the food industry began as a dishwasher in a restaurant, where he quickly discovered his passion for cooking. Together, Mary and Justin have continued to build upon the business's esteemed reputation, ensuring that every event hosting their culinary expertise is nothing short of exceptional.
