Our History

POCU of Maryland was founded in 1929 with the purpose of promoting thrift among its members by accumulating their savings and lending them back to its members at a moderate rate of interest. Throughout the years, our name has changed, but our commitment to our members has remained unwavering. We exist for our members, and not for profit, not for charity, but for service to our members, the owners of the Post Office Credit Union of Maryland, Inc.
