Protecting the Future of Aviation
The Aircraft Builders Council (ABC) is a leader in developing and providing products liability insurance coverage for aviation and aerospace manufacturers and major service and repair organizations. Founded in 1954, ABC was established at a time when aviation products liability coverage was in its infancy and not readily available on the open markets. Over the years, ABC has provided a continuously stable and resilient program offering broad aviation products liability insurance coverage.
What We Offer
The ABC program provides the aviation broker community with a streamlined efficient facility for higher limits of liability for their aviation/aerospace clients. We offer three coverage options: Master Lineslip, U.S. Portal, and Aviation Product Recall. The Master Lineslip provides coverage up to USD 1 billion, ideal for major manufacturers and suppliers. The U.S. Portal offers coverage up to USD 50 million, suitable for smaller manufacturers and suppliers. The Aviation Product Recall policy is designed for Tier 2, 3, and 4 suppliers, providing coverage up to USD 20 million.
What Makes Us Unique
What is novel about the ABC program is the unique collaboration between large insurers and brokerage houses, working together to provide a long-term quality service and product. This collaboration keeps the aviation market competitive, benefiting risk managers and insureds by keeping premiums in check.
