Growing up in a family of strong Italian heritage, Chef Balidemaj was instilled with a passion for traditional Italian cooking. After years of honing his skills in some of the top Italian restaurants in the country, he decided to open Alba's, naming the restaurant after the majestic region of Alba, Italy, known for its rich culinary heritage and rich truffle production.
The early years of Alba's were marked by incredible success, with the restaurant quickly gaining a loyal following among locals and foodies alike. In 2000, Chef Balidemaj embarked on a major renovation of the restaurant, doubling its size and transforming it into the elegant and sophisticated establishment it is today.
