At the heart of Gill Family Medicine is a team of compassionate and dedicated healthcare professionals, all driven by the shared belief that exceptional primary care is fundamental to optimal health and well-being. Dr. Gill, our founder, brings over 28 years of experience serving the community, establishing Gill Family Medicine with a steadfast commitment to providing the highest quality primary care. He is an Alabama native who earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Dr. Gill's passion for patient care extends beyond his practice, as he is an avid skier, martial artist, and fitness enthusiast.

Dr. McQueen is the newest member of our practice, bringing fresh perspectives and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. He earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of Alabama and his M.D. from UAB medical school. Dr. McQueen's decision to pursue primary care stems from his desire to build lasting relationships with patients and serve his community. When not caring for patients, Dr. McQueen enjoys following Alabama football, reading, and staying active through running and basketball. Dr. Matthews, with 18 years of experience in delivering exceptional medical care, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. Completing both his bachelor's and MD degrees at the University of Maryland, Dr. Matthews is a dedicated family man with a passion for serving others. He is an active member of his church and enjoys spending his free time with his family.

Rounding out our dedicated team are Ellie Adams, PA-C, with six years of experience in providing comprehensive healthcare, and Alan Heidt, CRNP, also with six years of experience, bringing expertise and compassion to patient care.
