Primary Care Pediatrics and Family Medicine, P.C. is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and individualized medical care of the highest quality in a friendly and family-oriented environment. Pediatric Care

At Primary Care Pediatrics and Family Medicine, P.C., we offer a range of pediatric services, including:

• Sports/Camp Physicals: Before your child can participate in sports or attend camp, they may need a physical examination. We offer sports/camp physicals to ensure that your child is healthy and ready to participate.
• Prenatal Visits: If you are expecting a child, we offer prenatal visits to ensure that you and your baby receive the care you need.
• Minor Surgical Procedures: We offer minor surgical procedures, such as laceration repair and care for minor burns.
• Immunizations: Immunizations are essential for protecting your child from serious infectious diseases. We offer a range of immunizations for children of all ages.
• Asthma Treatment & Education: If your child has asthma, we offer comprehensive treatment and education to help manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.

Family Medicine

In addition to pediatric care, we offer a range of family medicine services, including:

• Chronic Conditions: We provide comprehensive care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis.
• Acute/Urgent Conditions: We offer care for acute and urgent conditions such as colds, flu, and injuries.
• Annual Wellness Visits: Regular wellness visits are essential for monitoring your health and preventing illness. We offer annual wellness visits for adults of all ages.
• Vaccines: We offer a range of vaccines for adults, including influenza, pneumococcal, and Tdap vaccines.
• Minor Surgical Procedures: We offer minor surgical procedures, such as skin tag removal and mole biopsy.
• Labs: We offer on-site lab services for your convenience.
• EKG: We offer EKG services to monitor your heart health.
• Spirometry: We offer spirometry services to diagnose and manage asthma and other respiratory conditions.

Hours of Operation

Our office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Shraddha Shrestha, MD, FAAP

Dr. Shrestha is board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is originally from Nepal and completed medical school at Kathmandu Medical School in Kathmandu, Nepal. After moving to the United States, she completed her pediatric residency at Texas Tech health science center in Lubbock, Texas. She has a particular interest in breastfeeding, Asthma, ADHD, and obesity.

Binod Bista, MD

Dr. Bista is board certified in Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He completed his residency at UAB Huntsville Family Medicine Program. He has been practicing in Athens, AL for over 5 years and recently joined our practice.
