Gymnastics Of York

For nearly half a century, Gymnastics of York has been dedicated to providing a supportive environment for athletes to develop their skills. We moved into our own purpose-built 12,000 sq foot facility in 1991 and have been continuously expanding and improving it. Plans are underway to add an additional 6,000 sq foot space for advanced team training. Our experienced instructors focus on developing great communication skills, professionalism, and a patient approach to ensure each athlete feels supported and motivated throughout their journey.

Training Programs

We offer a range of training programs for kids as young as 2, starting with the fundamentals and progressing to team training and competitions. Our SMART START program is designed for beginner-level gymnasts, focusing on basic shapes, positions, and movement patterns. We also have programs for pre-team and team training, with sessions tailored to each level. Our goal is to help athletes develop flexibility, bone health, disease resistance, personal discipline, and overall athletic coordination.
