About the Owner

Simply Sweet Endings is owned and operated by Karen Stubbs, a self-taught cake artist with a passion for baking and a love for beautiful desserts. Karen spent over 20 years in the financial services industry as an Accountant and Auditor, but during the recent recession, she seized the opportunity to exercise her desire to blend art with confection.

Karen's journey as a cake artist began in her mom's kitchen as a teenager, where she honed her culinary skills and developed a love for baking. Over the years, she has refined her craft and developed a unique, professional artistry that sets Simply Sweet Endings apart from other custom wedding and celebration cake companies.

Karen has been recognized for her exceptional work in the cake community. She was the winner of the 2012 Winter Wonderland Patty Cakes Cake Competition and has been featured in the Beautiful Bride Atlanta magazine.

Cake Pricing & Flavors

Custom celebration cakes at Simply Sweet Endings start at $9.00 per serving with a minimum order of $150.00. Our wedding cakes start at $10.00 per serving with a minimum order of $500.00. We also offer plain cupcakes for $30 per dozen, custom cupcakes for $50 per dozen, dipped strawberries for $30 per dozen, Tuxedo Strawberries for $50 per dozen, cakesicles for $40 per dozen, chocolate-covered Oreos for $30 per dozen, and chocolate-covered pretzels for $40 per dozen.

Our cakes are priced based on several criteria, including cake sculpting, gumpaste decorations, detailed piping, hand painting, airbrushing, and other intricate design elements. Our base price per serving provides a general idea of the estimated starting price of your cake. The base price includes the layered cake with filling, fondant or buttercream icing, and very simple decorations.

We require a 50% deposit to book your cake. Cake tastings are available for up to 4 people for cakes serving 75 or more guests. The tasting fee is $35.00 for the couple or two guests, and $10.00 for each additional taster. The cake tasting fee is non-refundable and will be applied to the final order if the cake is booked.

Our cake tasting includes a variety of flavors and fillings for you to choose from. Our classic flavors include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, lemon, and almond, and we offer a wide range of fillings, including buttercream, fudge, caramel, and fresh fruit. We're always happy to accommodate special requests, so don't hesitate to ask if you have something specific in mind.
