Our Journey Begins

Founded in 2002, Helton House has been a beacon of support for adults with intellectual disabilities and mental illness in Central Virginia. Led by brothers Michael and Edward Helton, our mission is to empower individuals through personalized care, fostering their independence and inclusion in the community.

Our Services

At Helton House, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to meet individual needs. We currently operate:

• Assisted Living Facilities: Providing personalized care and assistance with daily living activities in a supportive and nurturing environment.
• DD Waiver Residential Homes: Offering safe and comfortable homes for individuals with intellectual disabilities, fostering independence and personal growth.
• Day Support Programs: Facilitating meaningful social interaction, skill development, and community engagement.
• Mental Health Services: Delivering psychosocial rehabilitation and skill-building programs to promote mental well-being and emotional resilience.
