At Twin Cities Community Preschool (TCCP), we believe that play is a powerful tool for learning and development. Our mission is to provide a supportive community where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and cognitively through play-based learning. We are a play-based, parent-participatory preschool in Corte Madera, California, offering a unique and engaging environment for children to explore and grow.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is rooted in the understanding that children learn best through play. Our curriculum is designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. We believe that children learn best when they are engaged in activities that promote problem-solving, communication, and socialization. Our experienced teachers and parent-teachers work together to create an environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
Our Programs
We offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs and interests of each child. Our school programs are designed to promote social-emotional development, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Our enrichment classes provide additional opportunities for children to explore new areas of interest, such as music, movement, and art.
Enrollment and Tuition
We understand that choosing the right preschool for your child is an important decision. Our enrollment process is designed to ensure a smooth transition for your child and your family. We believe that affordability should not be a barrier to a quality education. Our tuition rates are competitive with other programs in the area, and we offer flexible payment options to make our program accessible to families from all backgrounds.
Our Community
Twin Cities Community Preschool is more than just a preschool - it is a community of families and educators working together to support the growth and development of children. Our parent-participation program provides an opportunity for parents to be actively involved in their child's education and to build lasting relationships with other families.
Our History
In 1945, a group of visionary women from the Marin Child Study Section of AAUW had a bold idea: create a Parent Education co-op alongside a nursery school program. Over the years, our school has evolved and grown, but our commitment to play-based learning and community remains unwavering. We are proud to be a testament to the enduring power of collaboration and commitment, and we look forward to continuing to serve the community for generations to come.
