Our Facility

Located in San Rafael, California, our preschool is situated in a safe, spacious, and age-appropriate environment that provides ample opportunities for our students to explore, learn, and play. Our playground is designed to accommodate a wide variety of outdoor activities and events in an inviting park-like setting. With high-quality climbing and imaginative play equipment, our playground is the perfect place for children to run, bike, and play. Our three bright classrooms are designed to group students according to their age and developmental abilities, each with smaller spaces for language development, creative arts, science, sensory motor skill building, and imaginative play.

Programs

At Miss Nicky's, we offer a diverse curriculum based on age-grouped classrooms. Our three age groups are:

• Canary Classroom for our 18-24 month old toddler program
• Bluebird Classroom for our 2-3 year old students
• Red Robin Classroom for our 4-6 year old students

Our teachers are dedicated to providing a comprehensive curriculum that encourages learning through games, songs, movement, and arts. Our emphasis on dramatic play, social skills, and potty training helps our students develop important life skills.

Services

In addition to our curriculum, we also offer a range of services that cater to the needs of our students and their families. These include:

• Extracurricular programs that visit our center throughout the week, such as Jelly Jam Time, Soccer Shots, Gymnastics Bus, Amazing Athletes, and Marin Dance Theater
• Hot lunch program
• Morning and afternoon healthy snacks
• Very small student-to-teacher ratio in our classrooms
