Catholic Youth Summer Camp

At Damascus, we're a community of missionaries passionate about bringing revival to the Catholic Church. We believe that every individual has the potential to live an extraordinary life, and it starts with an encounter with Jesus. Our mission is to provide camps, retreats, and resources that help people of all ages experience the love of God and live the adventure of the Catholic faith.

Our History

Damascus was founded in 2001 with a vision to transform the lives of young people through encounters with the living God. What started as a small summer camp program has grown into a comprehensive ministry that serves over 20,000 people each year through three summer camp locations and year-round ministry to parishes, schools, families, and dioceses across the country.

Our Mission

We believe that when a generation of people are awakened to God's love, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and equipped with the tools to live a life on mission, it will change the world. Our programs and resources are designed to help individuals encounter Jesus, develop a deep relationship with Him, and live a life that reflects His love and teachings.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of programs and services designed to help individuals and communities encounter Jesus and live the adventure of the Catholic faith. Our programs include Catholic Youth Summer Camp, Youth Retreats, Winter Camp, Confirmation Retreats, Parish and School Retreats, Adult Opportunities, Men's and Women's Retreats, Empower Young Adult Conference, and Sports Trivia Cup. We also have a Missionary Program that provides opportunities for individuals to serve full-time and make a difference in the lives of others.

Our Impact

Since our inception, we have seen thousands of lives transformed through encounters with the living God. Our campus in Centerburg, OH has become a hub for ministry, and we have grown from a handful of missionaries serving 1,000 youth a year to 250+ missionaries serving over 20,000 each year. We're committed to continuing to innovate and reach more people with the Gospel message.
