Our Story

Our journey began over two decades ago, when our founder, Curtis Kamiya, discovered his passion for music at a young age. Growing up, Curtis spent countless hours practicing guitar, and later, pursued his love for music further at the University of Puget Sound, where he earned two BA degrees in Music and Theatre Arts. After years of hard work and dedication, Curtis became a professional musician, private music instructor, recording producer, and engineer. He founded Curtis Kamiya Music in 2015, along with his business partner and wife, Annie.

With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for music, Curtis creates customized lessons tailored to each student's unique interests, learning style, and goals. Annie, on the other hand, is a talented vocalist and entrepreneur with a background in wealth management and operations. With over 15 years of experience in marketing and business, Annie brings her expertise to Curtis Kamiya Music, ensuring that every student receives exceptional service and support.
