Your Local Home Decor & Art Workshop Destination
Founded in 1992, Taking Deeper Roots has evolved from a custom picture framing business into a vibrant art and design studio serving Palmerton, PA. Our journey began with Carla Binder's passion for creative expression, cultivated through formal training in architectural drafting and interior design. Over three decades, we've expanded our showroom into a curated space featuring handcrafted home decor, local art, and interactive workshops. Our mission remains rooted in inspiring creativity through unique products and educational experiences. We collaborate with regional artisans to offer one-of-a-kind treasures that reflect Pennsylvania's cultural heritage. From folk art to repurposed decor, every item tells a story of craftsmanship and community. Our outdoor garden patio workshops provide hands-on learning opportunities in a welcoming environment. With flexible scheduling available by appointment, we prioritize personalized service while maintaining our core Thursday-Saturday hours. As a locally owned business, we're committed to supporting regional artists and fostering creative growth in our community.
